Yoga relaxes and energizes your body and mind.
The science of yoga is thousands of years old. All physical yoga practices are forms of Hatha Yoga, emphasizing Body Poses (asanas), Breathing Techniques and Relaxation.
The combination of these exercises helps the mind to calm and clear & the body to become healthier and stronger. Yoga can also have a preventive and supportive influence on many physical and mental imbalances, often occurring with today’'s busy lifestyle which is full of restlessness, stress and feelings of discontentment.
On a deeper level we learn to connect to the essence of our being, the Soul, and become more aware of our real Self.
In our daily life our attention is mainly focused externally to fulfill our desires whereas with the practice of yoga we reverse the attention within- the only place where we can find lasting happiness.
Yoga is not based on a theoretical dogma but on actual experiences within ourselves. Practice & Feel!!
Yoga is for all ages and for everyBody. You don't need to be flexible, each student works at their own pace.
Every class ends with a relaxation period.
Meditation is another form of yoga, also called Raja Yoga, the highest form of yoga. During Meditation the focus is put on the mental and spiritual aspects of yoga. We sit in a comfortable position and practice breathing and meditation techniques to learn to calm the mind. A beautiful process develops which helps us go more and more within and connect with our real Self. This will ultimately bring forth feelings of peace & happiness.
